Loss measuring system "Feiffer LMS-PROFI-Kit"

The professional loss measurement system for dealers and combine harvester fleets

The "Feiffer LMS-PROFI-Kit" (Loss Measuring System) has been specially developed for professionals who use several combine harvesters. Measure losses flexibly with magnets and remote control and locate the source of loss in problem machines.

• high-precision determination of straw walker, rotor and sieve losses through the simultaneous use of 3 loss control pans across the entire header width
• based on the loss grains actually found in the loss control pan, the sensitivity of the electronic loss sensor can be corrected (calibration)
• you harvest safely at at the most efficient performance-loss-rate and the combine settings can be adjusted

The loss pans are fixed under the conveyor and at the header of the combine harvester using flexible magnetic holders; the third pan can be placed manually behind the header. This means that a measurement is carried out across the entire header width. These innovative magnet systems are battery-operated (approx. 1200 drops per battery set), which ensures full flexibility. No screwing, no laying cables! The loss control pans are automatically ejected via remote control. The threshing losses are collected. Our "Field Fan" makes it easier to separate the grains from straw and chaff. The grains are weighed using a pocket scale. The result is entered into the “Feiffer LMS” app. An exact loss value is determined based on the specific yield and the combine harvester parameters.

For problem machines, find out where exactly the losses are caused by:

• place 3 pans on the swath deposit with the chaff spreader running and locate whether the losses come from the sieves or the straw walker / rotor
  
• our “Feiffer LMS” app calculates the amount of loss separately for the respective loss pan and thus for the associated source of loss
• if losses, for example via the chaff spreader, are higher than in the middle via the straw walker / rotor, you know where you need to change the setting
